MacMillan Provincial Park

Today we learnt about MacMillan Provincial Park. There are 191 plant species in the park. It has some of the biggest trees on Vancouver Island. The widest Douglas Fir is 9 m in circumference. MacMillan Provincial Park is a temperate rainforest. It also contains Cameron Lake.

This is a red-breasted sapsucker. They can be seen in MacMillan Provincial Park. This one was in Maple Ridge.
