On November 27, 2021 we made it to Québec City! Wahoo! Québec means the spot where the river narrows. It refers to the narrowing of the St. Lawrence river. It is an old city! It was established in 1608. They speak French there.
Song sparrows can be found around Québec City. Song sparrows are 13 to 19 cm long. Their wingspan can be 21 to 31 cm. They weigh from 13 to 50 g. They live for up to 9 years. Song sparrows eat mainly insects in the summer and mainly seeds in the winter.
