Say hello to the white-tailed deer!!!

obyrnearthurl

Today I'm going to tell you about the white-tailed deer. It's Saskatchewan's provincial mammal. If they get pregnant the year that they are born they usually have one fawn. If they are one and half years old or older then they will probably have twins or maybe triplets. The fawns in the grasses to hide from predators, while the mom goes to get food. The fawns weight 2.7 kg to 3.6 kg at birth. The bucks weigh 68 kg to 141 kg. The does are 41 kg to 96 kg.

We are 1921 km from Tofino.

This is a Great Blue Heron.
