Steller's Jay

Updated: Dec 13, 2021

We haven't passed any parks, so I will tell you about a bird instead, which will be the Steller's Jay! The Stellar's Jay is an omnivore. It will eat from feeders, also eats insects, and eggs from other birds nests. It is 28 to 32 cm long. Stellar's Jay's wingspan is 48 cm. They weigh 100 to 150 g. They have one brood between March and June of two to six eggs. Their lifespan is up to 15 years in the wild.

We are 5827 km from Tofino!
