whoo...whoo...whoo...

I am telling you about the long-eared owl, because it's found in a park we passed by called Parc de la Frayère. There are lots of birds found in the park, especially a wide variety of owl species.

The long-eared owl is between 35 and 40 cm long. It's wingspan is 86 to 98 cm. It weighs 225 to 425 g. It has one brood per year of 2 to 7 eggs. The long-eared owl lives for up to 27 years. It eats mostly small rodents, especially mice, and sometimes small birds.

We are 5445 km from Tofino.
